La sicurezza alimentare in Europa e in Italia si difende puntando sulla transizione ecologica dell’agricoltura non indebolendo le norme della nuova PAC post 2022 e le Strategie UE “Farm to Fork” e “Biodiversità”
“Indebolire le Strategie UE Farm to Fork e Biodiversità 2030 dell’Unione Europea e rivedere le norme ambientali della nuova PAC post 2022 sarebbe un grave errore e non risolverebbe i problemi collegati all’aumento dei prezzi e disponibilità di materie prime, problemi ulteriormente aggravati dalla guerra in Ucraina che stanno mettendo in grave difficoltà le aziende agroalimentari europee e nazionali. Serve, invece, accelerare la transizione ecologica della nostra agricoltura rivedendo i modelli di produzione e consumo del cibo”
E’ quanto sostengono 17 Associazioni ambientaliste, dei consumatori e dei produttori biologici, in una lettera inviata al Presidente del Consiglio, Mario Draghi, e ai Ministri Patuanelli e Cingolani. Una lettera, che fa seguito ad un analogo appello in difesa della transizione ecologica dell’agricoltura inviato il 10 marzo scorso alla Commissione Europea da quasi 100 Associazioni europee
